I’m a first-year graduate student at Rice University.
I like to think about dynamical systems with an eye towards geometry and number theory, and I’m a fan of many other areas of mathematics.
I’m currently reading
- Ergodic Theory and Topological Dynamics of Group Actions on Homogeneous Spaces by M. Bachir Bekka and Matthias Mayer
- “Non-Arithmetic Groups in Lobachevsky Spaces” by Gromov and Piatetski-Shapiro
- A Gentle Course in Local Class Field Theory by Pierre Guillot
- Semiclassical Analysis by Maciej Zworski
- Faust, Part Two by Goethe
- Gravity’s Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon
- Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk
